Few days back, the picture of an Iranian teen Sahar Tabar went viral on social media due to her frightening look while attempting to look like Angelina Jolie her claimed idol.
However, while being interviewed on the Russia’s state-sponsored international news agency, she alleged that she never went through 50 surgeries and also that the effect of the image which she shared on Instagram was as a result of makeup and Photoshop.
She admits to carrying out cosmetic surgery, but said it was nothing compared to the look which went viral. She does confirm that she got a nose job, pumped up her lips, and had a liposuction. But said it was nothing remotely close to the claims published by the media.
“Of course not. [referring to the surgeries] This is Photoshop and makeup. Every time I post a photo, I make my face all the funnier and funnier. It is such a way of self-expression, a kind of art. My fans know that this is not my real face.” said Tabar during the interview.
She added that she does not see anything terrible in her operations, saying that many people are doing this kind of procedure on the planet. Especially in Tehran where one operation costs 10 million Iranian rials ($300 US)
