WizKid’s Star Boy Jersey By Nike Sold Out In Ten Minutes!

Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid,  Nigeria’s Star Boy has just made amazing waves on the internet and definitely a lot of money in his pocket.

Start Boy fan jersey was announced by Wizkid early in this year has finally been released for purchase but sadly its sold out. The jersey was in collaboration with Nike one of the biggest sport brand.

The shirt had a Logo of wizkid’s label; Star Boy and also an inscription behind paying tribute to Surulere, Lagos where Wizkid is was born and brought up.

Nike announced that the collab with Wizkid is a way of celebrating his Nigerian roots and also his love for football and fashion. The Jersey was available for sale on Monday at a retail for 64.95 Pounds and when converted to Naira, 30,ooo Naira.

However the  Star Boy jersey  was sold almost as quickly as it hit the web, 10 mins! Amazing sales record or what, you decide.

Celebrities like Alex iwobi and Ndidi and others have been spotted rocking the fan wear and they look like as snack in it.

Wizkid And Davido’s Crew Exchange Blows In Dubai

The One Africa Music Festival went down at the Madinat Jumeirah Al Sufough, Dubai. It was attended by African Music superstars with performances from; 2Baba, Tekno, Emma Nyra, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Flavour, Banky W, Vanessa Mdee, Victoria Kimani and much more, it was quite a thrilling affair for lovers of African music.

The show experienced a massive turn out but the high point of the event happened outside between the camps of Nigerian sweethearts, Davido and Wizkid.

Before now, their beef has always been a thing of social media but it just escalated to a whole new level as both artistes and their supporters, were reduced to exchanging blows in Dubai, after they performances.

There has however been reports from Dubai that Wizkid and Davido’s team clashed, after Wizkid reportedly punched one of Davido’s team members.

A video clip of what ensued was captured by one of the fans at the scene.

Recall that Davido shaded AFRIMA and Wizkid on his snapchat account.

Wizkid Talks Drake, M.I, OJB Jezereel And Baby Mamas on L.A’s Real 92.3FM

Starboy Worldwide CEO, Wizkid, has again found himself in the news and of course, did not disappoint with his ability to always hit the nail on the head when necessary.

The singer, was recently on US radio station, Real 92.3 FM where he talked about how he stared music, M.I, his sons and of course baby mamas.

Speaking on how he started making music, Wizkid, revealed that he started off in church at the age of 11, same year he met the late OJB Jezereel, who later gave him several beats to work on.

On his first record, the COME CLOSER crooner, gave a shoutout to M.I Abaga, whom he described as one of the biggest hip hop acts in the country, saying M.I gave allowed him record the hook to his Fast Money, Fast Cars, record, a record that introduced him to the millions in the country.

Asked what he feels about Drake’s reputation of always stealing people’s sound, Wizkid, stylishly declined to answer that.

Jamaican dancehall act, Kemar Donaldson aka Kranium comes bubbling with this star studded jam of life titled Can’t Believe and he enlists the services of our very own Starboy Wizkid and American Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign.

Wizkid Enlists Future And Ty Dollar Sign For New Tune

 Starboy and ‘Come closer’ crooner, Wizkid, has just revealed he recently featured American stars, TY Dolla Sign and Future on his new song. He made this known via his Twitter handle.

The new collaboration will be added on his forthcoming summer 2017 album “Sounds From The Other Side” which boasts of some international artists and will be released in June 2017.

Wizkid Cancels Shows Due To Health Complications

Not long after a fan drew attention to how frail Wizkid looked in a recent photo, the singer, took to social media to announce that he will be canceling all shows for Dec and January 2017.

Wizkid, who has been on tour for a 2-years now, revealed the stress is definitely catching up and has been advised by his doctors, to take a break.

Wizkid Drops Date For Homecoming Concert

Two weeks ago, Wizkid sought suggestions from his fans on Twitter on when to fix his end of the year homecoming concert for.

Although they agreed to a 5000 naira gate fee, the Starboy promised to speak to his management and then give feedback to his fans and he has not failed on that.

Last night, the multi-award winning artiste announced that December 31st has been scheduled for the homecoming concert and it will hold at the Eko Convention Center. He also added that a followup celebration party will hold at the New Afrika Shrine on January 1st.

Gate fee for the December 31st event still remains 5k.
