Kobe Bryant, who retired from the NBA in 2016 after winning five championships and going to 18 All-Star Games with the Lakers has been rumored to make a comeback this season to play with leBron James.
The rumour started making rounds recently after Kobe’s former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Shaquille O’Neal told TMZ, “Kobe coming back I heard. Kobe coming back! You heard it here first!”
Many people believed it, especially since LeBron James announced his decision to sign with the Lakers. But yesterday, in a video posted on Vanessa’s Instagram account which shows her having a good time in Mexico, a fan hopped on the comment section, asking her, “Is Kobe comin back or not? I know it’s lowkey up to you.”
And she set the records straight.
“Kobe will not be coming out of retirement to play again,” Vanessa responded. “He doesn’t want to play again and frankly we really enjoy spending time together as a family without the crazy game schedule interfering with birthdays, holidays and special events.”
That’s that for all the fans hoping to see the two all stars play together.
